K2, the first rollercoaster of Karls Erlebnis Dorf Elstal, which is a popular destination located near Berlin, receives a soundtrack by IMAscore. A snipped of it could already be heard in the official announcement video:
The 24 meters high and 530 meters long family ride features a more than 100 meters long darkride part with elaborate theming created by Filmpark Babelsberg. The dram-like trains, which are the first chaises made of wood in Germany in centuries, will rush through the diversified track with up to 60 kilometres per hour. Beside of these facts, the theming of K2 is more than just decoration: The ride will be surrounded by a working potato chips manufactory, where guests can experience the way potato chips are made and of course eat them in the linked restaurant.
The attraction will open on the 21st of April 2018.
