Mixing & Mastering
The terms mix, mixing or blending describe the step of audio post production, in which all recordings and tracks of music or scoring will be combined to one or more channels. Previously every track went through sound editing and volume adjustment in order to create a perfectly balanced piece of music.
Mastering is the final and one of the most important steps of any professional audio post production. By enhancing the quality of a stereo or surround-channel and the playback compatibility, your music or scoring sounds just as punchy and great on small players like you can find them at home, as it does on larger sound systems, for example in cinemas.
